OUR STORY

KEEVY AUCTIONEERS AND ESTATE AGENTS

Brothers Etienne and John Keevy found Keevy Auctions (Pty) Ltd in 2001. As farm boys growing up on their family Karoo farm in the Jansenville district they derived a passion for farming and continued to be involved in farms by marketing and selling farms, organised agriculture and livestock throughout their careers.

Joined by Gerard Bekker, a fellow registered agent for more than 10 years and Helgard van der Watt, a well know auctioneer in the Eastern Cape, they have gained the reputation of handling all deals with integrity and have become a dependable Auction House and Property Marketers in the Eastern Cape.

COMMITMENT TO SERVICE EXCELLENCE

Starting off mainly in the agricultural field, Keevy Auctions have proved themselves as successful auctioneers and marketing agents in the commercial, industrial and residential fields. Whether selling property by public auction or private treaty the client is assured that they will use all aspects available to market the property in order to receive the best results. The positive results received since established can be ascribed to the strength and enthusiasm of this dynamic team and their commitment to provide a dependable personal service from which they have built a reputation for themselves among both buyers and sellers.

LETTERS OF APPRECIATION

In our dealings with John we found him to be a true professional – very well informed, honest, prompt and to the point.

Once he had a buyer he was well informed and executed and finalised the deal meticulously.

KEEVY AUCTIONEERS have an efficient team in the office, also facilitating an efficient deal.

We thank John for his approachable manner. What a pleasure having him sell our asset!

Dear John,
Many thanks for your assistance in the sale of my farm to Land Affairs. It went more smoothly than I’d anticipated, in view of the reputation of the Department. Against expectations, it went rapidly; negotiations began in September 2011 and payment was finally made in February 2012. In particular, the final phase went rapidly. The documents were sent to the Deeds office and, within 5 working days, transfer had taken place. At this stage I was nervous because of uncertainty about payment. I need not have been, payment took place just 48 hours after transfer.

Gerard Morgan

I was extremely impressed with the personal, yet professional way that John and the rest of the Keevy team approached the sale of BoskyDell Game Farm. This straight talking team kept us at ease and well informed throughout the process and made an often trying process a pleasant one. I will be sure to be using them on future deals!

Hi John,
This is just a short note to say thank you for the wonderful auction you did in this estate, but it goes so much further than that because you always go the extra mile and do work that is over and above your call of duty besides which you always end up being friends with the buyer as well as the seller!

The house was beautifully prepared for the auction and extremely well organised. I am always pleased that I attended the auction so that I could see first hand the work that goes into doing an auction to ensure smooth/seamless procedure on the day.

You truly are skilled at your job and thanks for getting such good prices (which I am sure you achieve because of your interaction with the people at the auction and the humour that you bring into the bidding!!)
